My Project for July

Here are the rules:

This is a gift for a co-worker of DH's

Yarn for Norberta

This is the yarn that I bought for Norberta. (Bought as in my Stashalong Option 1: June Free Day has been used - Use it or Lose it!! I mostly lose mine as I can usually find something in my stash as a substitute.) I did go stash-diving but was not sure that I would find these colours in my stash. -- Not my usual knitting colours, & not the typical colours of a dragon.)

DH has a co-worker CP, she loves dragons.

The bumper sticker on her van says:

I believe in Dragons, Good Men & other Fantasy Creatures.

I have to make her Norberta as a gift. Deadline is late December, early January

Yard Sales Scoop!

I scooped this lot of material at 2 yard sales.

The material on the left was in a box for $5.00 & the 3 pieces of material on the left were $2.00 for all 3 pieces. Score!!

I am not sure what I am going to make but I sure will have fun over the summer.

KAL within a KAL Project Finished

The Irish Cable Bag is finished.

It is different from the pattern because I could not find the pattern. I had photocopied the chart of the pattern so I could write on the chart. You cannot write in books!! Also the pattern is from a book that I got from the library. I cannot remember the name of the book, also I cannot be bothered to go and try and find it again, so I since I was exactly half done I did the back of the bag in stocking stitch. Yes I believe it is cheating but I wanted it finished!!

DD#2 claimed it & really liked the back plain, so that is a bonus.
