American Wasteland -- Book Review
American Wasteland: How America Throws Away Nearly Half of Its Food (and What We Can do About It) by Jonathan Bloom is a book that should be mandatory reading for everyone who consumes food. The food that is wasted on a daily basis from field to household is truly obscene!!
Very interesting read!!

Gluten-Free Shopping
Went shopping at Wegmans in Niagara Falls, NY yesterday. We go about every 2 months & stock up on the gluten free groceries that we cannot get in Canada.
The main reason we went yesterday was for Rice Chex. You cannot get Chocolate or Apple Cinnamon in Canada, hubby loves the Chocolate & the girls love the Apple Cinnamon--they use them as snacks.
I also found Chebe Cinnamon Roll mix. The family loves cinnamon rolls but have not had any since going gluten-free. Chebe has a line of dry mixes as well a frozen dough. Have to try more! I have been told they are going to be available in Ontario.
