Knit (v);
to make (a fabric) by looping one or more yarns by hand with knitting needles.
Sew (v);
to work with a needle and thread or with a sewing machine.

I love both the coat & the scarf.
The scarf is made from a yarn called "Pearl Dust" It knits as chunky. The yarn consists of 40% acetate, 35% wool, 15% acrylic, 5% mohair & 5% nylon. It was gifted to my in a bag of yarn.
