Moses A Man of Selfless Dedication -- Book Review

Moses A Man of Selfless Dedication by Charles R Swindoll.

Book Four in the Great Lives series.

One small detail that would have been nice to get correct was the passage on page 260.  'Yes, some of us can accomplish a great deal single-handedly.  Sir Edmund Hillary, the famous British mountain climber who was the first to conquer Mount Everest, once said, "Even the summit of Everest is not beyond the capacity of an unassisted man.  But the risks are enormous."'

Sir Edmund Hillary is not British, he is a New Zealander.  Britain is in the Northern Hemisphere and New Zealand is in the Southern Hemisphere.  Quite a difference in geography.

Highly Recommended.

Miracles of Miracles -- Book Review

Miracles of Miracles:  A Muslim Woman's Conversion to Christ and Flight from the Perils of Islam by Mina Nevisa with Jim Croft.

This book was completely different from the previous one I read called 'The Imam's Daughter'.

In Miracles of Miracles, Mina, a Muslim woman raised in Iran in the Islamic faith, comes to find Christianity.  She gives great insights into the Islamic religion, & has has many miracles happen over the years when fleeing Iran.

Could not put it down.  Highly Recommended.

Unplanned -- Book Review

unPlanned;  The Dramatic True Storey of a Former Planned Parenthood Leaders Eye-Opening Journey across the Life Line  by Abby Johnson

Abby Johnson quit her job in October 2009. That simple act became a national news story because Abby was the director of a Planned Parenthood clinic in Texas who, after participating in an actual abortion procedure for the first time, walked down the street to join the Coalition for Life.

I remember this story on the 6 o'clock news so decided to read the book.  Interesting.
